Ogier assists Churchill Capital Corp X on US$414 million IPO

Ogier's Corporate team in the Cayman Islands advised Churchill Capital Corp X on its upsized US$414 million initial public offering on the Nasdaq Global Market.
Churchill Capital Corp X (Churchill), a special purpose acquisition company (SPAC), initially plans to target business combinations in any business or industry.
The company's units began trading on 14 May under the ticker symbol CCXU. Its initial public offering (IPO) of 41.4 million units was priced at US$10 per unit, which includes the full exercise of the underwriter's over-allotment option.
The Ogier team was led by partner Bradley Kruger, with support from senior associates Ali Pasley and Thomas Sims and associates Scott Parmenter and Wray Sulisz.
