Ogier’s Banking and Finance team in the Cayman Islands has advised the initial purchasers in connection with the tap issuance by certain subsidiaries of NYSE-listed Borr Drilling Limited of US$165 million in aggregate principal amount of senior secured notes due 2030.
Borr Drilling is an international jackup drilling contractor providing services to the oil and gas industry.
The proceeds from the offering are intended to be used for the acquisition of five new rigs and for general corporate purposes, including capital expenditure, funding of working capital and potential mergers and acquisitions.
The Ogier team provided Cayman Islands law advice covering all aspects of the transaction, led by partner James Heinicke and supported by senior associate Jasjit Grewal.
