Ogier's SPAC team advises General Purpose Acquisition Corp. on US$230 million Nasdaq IPO

Ogier's Corporate team provided Cayman Islands legal counsel to General Purpose Acquisition Corp. on its US$230 million initial public offering on the Nasdaq Global Market, which closed on 4 December 2025.

A Cayman incorporated special purpose acquisition company (SPAC), General Purpose Acquisition Corp. plans to search for a target in the maritime, logistics and digital infrastructure sectors.
 
The offering of 23,000,000 units was priced at $10.00 per unit and units were traded under the ticker symbol GPACU, beginning 3 December 2025.
 
The Ogier team was led by partner Cynthia Anandajayasekeram with support from senior associate Ali Pasley.
