The Guernsey Champagne reception 2025 in Monte Carlo is a core event in the Les Rendez-Vous de Septembre line up.

A welcome address will be delivered by Paul Sykes, Chair of Guernsey Finance and Managing Director of Aon Guernsey. We are delighted to welcome Paul Brand, CEO of Convex Group, who will be the event’s keynote speaker.

The reception will offer insights into how the latest trends in the sector are impacting global insurance markets, and how Guernsey’s role is adapting to meet market needs.  

Guernsey’s insurance sector is pioneering and innovative, with the jurisdiction boasting a position of leadership in the structuring and execution of alternative risk transfer. 

The reception takes place in the same week as the 67th Les Rendez-Vous de Septembre (6 - 10 September), when representatives from the global reinsurance market meet to hold bilateral discussions ahead of the renewal of insurance treaties.
