Hear from two junior members of our Ogier Global teams who are both based in the Jersey office about their experience at the firm.

The entire team is also Lean Six Sigma White Belt qualified, which influences my decisions on a day-to-day basis and offers insights into diverse projects. This tailored training allows me the opportunity to enhance my skill set and engage with Ogier's continuous learning ethos.
The flexibility at Ogier enables me to tailor my work environment and schedule to my unique skills. The supportive culture also allows me to draw on and apply my experiences of studying at university when collaborating with my team, encouraging me to share my ideas and be open to fresh perspectives. That support and encouragement from people around me not only improves my individual contributions but also strengthens the overall team dynamic and success.
The offer of remote work options and flexible hours empowers staff to maintain a healthy balance between professional and personal commitments. Ogier also encourages relationships based on trust and open communication, enabling employees to tailor their work arrangements to their lives. Ogier's commitment to flexibility has definitely had a positive impact on my work-life balance, especially on the personal side. I have had injuries outside of work and felt comfortable asking to re-arrange my working hours so that I started and finished early in order to meet appointments which were necessary for my recovery.
Ogier's flexibility enables me to take charge of my schedule and structure my own day, which means I can dedicate time to further develop my skills on our various specialist platforms. This time for continuous learning and development means I am always improving my efficiency with tasks I do on a weekly basis for the team.
It can be difficult to study for a professional qualification alongside full-time work. However, with Ogier's help and flexibility, I have been able to do just that – its culture and practices have allowed me to successfully balance my workload while studying for and passing my first finance exam. The firm's ethos has played a significant role in my career progression.
