Ogier’s Private Wealth team has been named Law Firm of the Year in the Jersey category at this year’s Citywealth IFC Awards. The awards recognise excellence across international financial centres, as well as private wealth firms and advisers who serve ultra-high net worth clients globally. Ogier’s win was announced at a ceremony at the Biltmore Mayfair in London at the end of January.

Josephine Howe, partner in Jersey’s Private Wealth team at Ogier, said:

“We are delighted to have won Law Firm of the Year in the Jersey category at this year’s Citywealth IFC Awards.

“Much of our recent growth and development has focused on delivering the highest-quality service to our clients and meeting their evolving needs. This award reflects the talents, expertise and commitment of our team, and we are very proud to be recognised.”

Jersey’s private wealth offering brings together multiple specialist teams to support trustees, ultra-high net worth individuals and family offices with complex and often cross-border needs.

Josephine and partners James Campbell and Richard Laignel lead Ogier’s Private Wealth team in Jersey. The team advises on sophisticated structures designed for succession planning, asset protection, tax efficiency and family governance, delivering technical excellence while maintaining a sensitive, client-focused approach.

The team is supported by Ogier’s dedicated Trusts Advisory Group, which brings together experts across private wealth, dispute resolution and corporate teams to advise on both contentious and non-contentious trust matters.

Private clients' needs are further supported by the firm’s Estates, Wills and Probate team led by Henry Wickham, who was named Channel Islands Lawyer of the Year at the Citywealth IFC Awards 2025. This is complemented by Ogier’s relocation specialists Jonathan Hughes and Will Austin-Vautier and a team of lawyers focused on supporting ultra-high net worth individuals and their advisers.
