Guernsey

Guernsey employment law specialist Rachel DeSanges has progressed to Head of Employment, Guernsey as Ogier continues to provide integrated, market-leading solutions through its comprehensive Local Legal Services offering.

In her role Rachel will lead a responsive team of contentious and non-contentious lawyers to provide a one-stop-shop for clients' employment law requirements.

Identified as a "Next Generation Partner" in the Legal 500 UK, 2020 Rachel regularly works on high profile and ground-breaking cases in Guernsey, appearing before the Guernsey Employment Tribunal. Rachel also brings her expertise to a wide range of employment matters arising as part of other matters including mergers and acquisitions, immigration and relocations and data protection work, where she often works closely with the Jersey team.

Partner and Head of Guernsey Dispute Resolution Mathew Newman said "Rachel is a leading practitioner in the Guernsey employment law market and her progression to this new role is thoroughly well-deserved. Working seamlessly across contentious and non-contentious employment law elements, Rachel will lead and draw upon our Guernsey team's expertise to provide a comprehensive solution for clients."
