As part of Ogier's continued charities and communities work supporting education across its global jurisdictions, Ogier in Cayman has donated funds to Clifton Hunter High School to restock its library.

The school reached out to Ogier directly after the library had been undersupplied and understaffed for six years.

Ogier's donation of US$5000 will assist with the purchase and shipping of books to Cayman.

The firm will also provide ongoing support in the form of supplying volunteers to catalogue and shelve the books, participate in 1:1 reading support and give assemblies on their favourite books and why they enjoy reading.

Alongside supporting the school's efforts to meet the literacy needs of students, the library will also play a key part in intervention for students that are falling behind.

Partner Giorgio Subiotto said: "We are very pleased to have been able to support such an important cause. Libraries play a crucial role in the life of a school, and it's important that students have access to a wide range of quality reading that both supports and goes beyond what they learn in the classroom.

"We hope the students at Clifton Hunter enjoy their new library and I would like to thank all the Ogier volunteers who have given their support to this project."
