Ogier supports healthy reefs with sponsorship of Central Caribbean Marine Institute

Ogier is proud to announce its sponsorship of the Central Caribbean Marine Institute's Healthy Reef campaign.

Based in the Cayman Islands, the vision of the Central Caribbean Marine Institute (CCMI) is a world with vibrant oceans and healthy coral reefs. To make this vision a reality the CCMI is undertaking research, conservation and education initiatives to bridge the gap between knowledge and action.

Ogier's Cayman team are passionate supporters of eco-friendly projects, and are particularly enthusiastic about educational projects that will help protect the environment for generations to come.

Leigh Smellie from Ogier said: "We are delighted to be platinum sponsors of the Central Caribbean Marine Institute's Healthy Reef campaign. We are impressed by the CCMI's aim to raise awareness of Cayman’s reefs by spreading the love for healthy reefs among watersports and dive operators, students, teachers, tourists and general members of the community."

With future planned activities including reef lectures, a land-based audience has already celebrated World Oceans Day with a CCMI virtual dive in Little Cayman in a Reefs Go Live experience.
