Ogier has sponsored a range of free virtual activities this summer organised by the Pollinator Project.JE and the Jersey Biodiversity Centre to educate islanders about pollinators and how they can help them thrive.

Before the pandemic, the Pollinator Project team had planned to meet school children, community groups and the public with face-to-face activities, but to comply with social distancing regulations in place in Jersey the talks to promote the importance of insect pollinators and the need to 'Bee Friendly' are now happening online.

Director of Marketing Kate Kirk said: "We're excited to be involved with the project and impressed that the team from the Jersey Biodiversity Centre and Pollinator Project.JE have developed this programme of virtual activities given we can't get together to share the talks and activities right now.

"Education about pollinators is absolutely crucial and at a time when many of us have enjoyed getting out into nature as a welcome escape during recent challenging times, this programme will be a brilliant way to become Bee Friendly and find out what we can all do to help insect pollinators."
