Six of Ogier's rising stars across its global trusts teams have been named in Legal Week's "Ones to Watch" list for 2018 – more than any of the firm's offshore competitors.

The list – part of Legal Week's Private Client Global Elite campaign – names managing associates Josephine Howe and Sevyn Kalsi, senior associates Fraser Allister, Alice Bricogne and associate Edwin Gomez.

More than 6,000 entries were received for the Private Client Global Elite, but just 250 names made the elite list and 124 were included as Ones to Watch.

The Ogier names include Private Wealth and Dispute Resolution specialists, and include lawyers from the firm's Cayman, Guernsey, Hong Kong and Jersey teams.

Partner James Campbell, from Ogier's Private Wealth team, said: "Having celebrated the success of the senior members of the team in the Private Client Global Elite and Legal 500 Hall of Fame in the last few weeks, we're very pleased to have this opportunity to recognise the rising private client stars in our offices.

"We have one of the largest teams of non-contentious trusts specialists in the offshore world, and we take pride in the investment that we put into developing and nurturing our team members, and supporting their progression to senior roles.

"Josephine, Sevyn, Fraser, Alice and Edwin and are not just lawyers with a bright future ahead of them – they are genuine rising stars who are doing an outstanding job and building reputations within the private client world for the quality of their advice and their dedication to excellent client service."
