Prior to joining Ogier, Alex was an associate in the tax group at Slaughter and May in London. He advised on both corporate and contentious tax matters, including structuring and advisory work.
Alex completed a training contract at Slaughter and May, which comprised of seats in corporate and commercial, finance (restructuring and insolvency), tax, real estate and competition. In addition, Alex completed a client secondment at Seadrill Management Limited.
Alex studied Political Science at Yale University, graduating in 2014. As part of his degree course, Alex spent the 2012-13 academic year at Pembroke College, Oxford, reading History and Politics. He completed his GDL and LPC at BPP Law School.
