Elhadj Sène

A specialist in capital markets, in particular investment funds, Elhadj has an in-depth understanding of Luxembourg and German fund products and managers. With a track record of structuring investment fund products and transactions across international borders, he advises on legal aspects of fund management, from initial set-up and documentation and cross-border fund distribution to daily operations and regulatory compliance, as well as ESG-related considerations for investment funds.

Background and experience

Prior to joining Ogier, Elhadj worked in the Berlin office of a global law firm, in the legal department of one of the largest asset managers in Luxembourg as well as in the Luxembourg investment fund and regulatory practice of an international law firm.

Elhadj is fluent in French, German, English, Spanish and Arabic. He holds an LL.M. in European banking and financial law, investment fund law from the University of Luxembourg, a Master II degree in international law from Université Bordeaux IV Montesquieu and a Master II degree in Administration and Public Management from Sciences Po Bordeaux.
