Laura works on a wide range of matters including commercial property, high value residency, property finance, property rich M&A transactions, employment law and data protection.
Laura is part of Ogier's cross-disciplinary team advising clients on steps to take to prepare for the implementation of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) – a Europe-wide reform of Data Protection laws that have significant implications for all firms trading in the EU, or which trade with companies or clients in the EU. The group is composed of lawyers from Ogier's corporate, regulatory and employment law teams.
Laura qualified as an English solicitor in March 2017 and works in Ogier's Local Legal Services department.
Laura graduated with an Upper Second Class Honours degree in Psychology from Durham University in 2012, following which she attended the University of Law in Guildford and obtained a commendation in her Graduate Diploma in Law and a distinction in her Masters in International Legal Practice. During her Graduate Diploma in Law, Laura was awarded a bursary with Ogier.
