Ralph Spencer-Tucker

Ralph is an advocate and managing associate in Ogier's Dispute Resolution team, based in Jersey. He specialises in trust and commercial disputes and has a particular interest in schemes of arrangements, in which he has experience acting for both buying and selling parties.

Background and experience

Ralph has a broad practice that encompasses contentious and non-contentious trust matters, commercial disputes, and contentious insolvency. He regularly acts for trustees, beneficiaries and professional advisors, and his cases often have a cross-jurisdictional aspect, which involves dealing with advisors in multiple jurisdictions.

Ralph has acted in a number of leading company law cases concerning unfair prejudice and the Court's jurisdiction to wind up companies. He also has significant experience in contentious regulatory matters, including acting for clients subject to production orders. Ralph has significant expertise in schemes of arrangement and has acted for both buying and selling companies on the Court aspects of various schemes.
 
Ralph graduated with a BA in Law from the University of Oxford. Prior to joining Ogier, Ralph was an associate in the dispute resolution department of a Magic Circle firm, where he advised on high-value litigation and high-profile regulatory investigations.
