Ogier advises on acquisition of Birmingham development

Ogier's corporate real estate team have advised on the acquisition and financing of another city development, acting for long-standing client Tristan Capital Partners on the purchase of 103 Colmore Row at the heart of Birmingham's business district.

A redevelopment project is underway at the site which, when completed in 2021, will provide 220,000 square feet of office space over 26 storeys, with restaurant units on the ground and top floors, a winter garden, 18th floor terrace and multi-purpose business lounges in what will be the city's tallest building.

Ogier acted on the acquisition and financing of the Jersey Property Unit Trust (JPUT) holding the property alongside Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner.

The team was led by partner Raulin Amy and included senior associate Kevin Grové and associate Michael Anderson.
