Ogier's de-SPAC experts advise GOWell Technology Limited in US$401.4 million business combination with Inflection Point-led SPAC

Ogier's Corporate team is acting as Cayman Islands legal counsel to GOWell Technology Limited, a leading global innovator in well logging technologies, in its business combination with Maywood Acquisition Corp, a SPAC led and backed by Inflection Point Asset Management.

This transaction, valued at a pro-forma enterprise value of US$401.4 million, will see GOWell go public under the name GOWell Energy Technology on Nasdaq, under the ticker symbol GOW. 

GOWell provides solutions for well integrity, environmental risk management and production optimisation in the energy sector. This includes providing software, equipment and technology solutions to the growing US$7.4 billion wireline logging market, which is being driven by aging well infrastructure and increasingly stringent well integrity regulations.

The Ogier team was led by partner Cynthia Anandajayasekeram with support from senior associate Laura O'Byrne and associate Scott Parmenter.
