Ogier advises Inflection Point Acquisition Corp. IV on its business combination with aerospace company Merlin

Ogier's Corporate team in the Cayman Islands has advised Inflection Point Acquisition Corp. IV on its business combination with aerospace and defence technology company Merlin, Inc.

The transaction provides approximately US$200 million in gross proceeds, including a fully committed PIPE. Units in the combined company began trading on Nasdaq under the ticker symbol MRLN on 17 March. 

Merlin is a leading developer of autonomous flight technology. The additional capital enables it to scale deployment of its AI-powered autonomous flight system, Merlin Pilot.

This successful closing follows Inflection Point Acquisition Corp. IV's (formerly, Bleichroeder Acquisition Corp. I) US$250 million IPO in November 2024.
