Four Ogier partners named in Legal 500 rankings for "knowledgeable and experienced" Luxembourg team

Four of Ogier's Luxembourg partners have been recognised by Legal 500 which has praised the firm's "knowledgeable and experienced" investment funds team.

Ogier, the only offshore law firm in Luxembourg, has seen its best results yet from the leading independent legal directory.

Practice Partner Francois Pfister – who established the team six years ago – is described as "a true thought-leader in private equity/venture capital and alternative asset classes".

Partners Bertrand Geradin and Laurent Thailly are also singled out for recognition.

Francois, whose funds team was also praised for offering "efficient and pragmatic advice" on fund formation, regulatory and operational matters, said that the team was pleased at the strong results.

He said: "We're very pleased with the comments in the directory, and the recognition for the partners, which reflects on the hard work by everyone in the team.

"In the last six years, Ogier's presence in Luxembourg has grown not just in terms of size – we now number more than 25 lawyers – but also in terms of our reputation and standing in the market."
