Partner Bradley Kruger from Ogier's Cayman Islands team will provide an offshore perspective on the subject of cryptocurrencies, ICOs and regulation at Block2TheFuture, a three day conference bringing together leading figures in the blockchain and cryptocurrency fields.

Taking place in San Francisco, Block2TheFuture is a mainstay feature in the cryptocurrency and blockchain calendar, with more than 100 speakers expected.

As Head of Ogier's Caribbean and Asia corporate practice with a particular focus on fintech, Brad is well-placed to provide specialist insights on the most current legal issues in blockchain technology and cryptocurrency.

He is presenting as session titled " Cayman - Advantages over other Jurisdictions."

Brad, who practised in California and Canada before joining Ogier's Cayman team, said: "This event comes at an excellent time – the new uses of blockchain technology are expanding rapidly as it shifts into the commercial mainstream, and at the same time we are seeing different jurisdictions take very different approaches to regulation.

"I am looking forward to sharing my viewpoint from the Cayman perspective, as informed by other members of our Digital, Blockchain and Fintech team across our offices in the Caribbean, Asia and Europe."
