Background and experience
Before joining the team at Ogier in 2020, Chelsey worked in the accounts department of Ireland’s leading meat catering company for four years as an accounts assistant. Chelsey also completed an internship at Alastair Purdy & Co Solicitors.
Chelsey is from Galway and studied at the National University of Ireland, Galway. She achieved honours in both her undergraduate Corporate Law and postgraduate LLB degrees. Chelsey went on to pass all eight of the Law Society of Ireland’s FE-1 examinations on first attempt.
Chelsey trained in Ogier's Corporate, Dispute Resolution and Property departments.
She has experience in a range of corporate services including mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructures and corporate governance.

Acted for the sole shareholder, Edward Mulligan, on the sale of site security system solutions provider Optosafe Ireland to Orbis Protect, a leading provider of critical security services that is backed by Svnova Capital.

Acted for Monterro-backed, leading Swedish maintenance software provider MaintMaster Systems on its successful acquisition of OEEsystems International, a Clonmel-headquartered provider of manufacturing performance improvement software and expertise.
Admitted in Ireland in 2023.
