Emily Haithwaite

Emily heads up Ogier's Jersey investment funds practice and has thirty years of experience in the sector. She advises a variety of investment fund sponsors on the formation, operation, listing and winding-up of funds (including end of life solutions), as well as institutional investors investing into Jersey funds.

Background and experience

Emily’s expertise spans private funds including private equity, venture capital, infrastructure and debt funds, investment schemes and family office funds, open and closed-ended funds across a wide variety of strategies and asset classes. Emily has extensive regulatory experience, having advised many asset managers and financial services businesses on asset management and financial services regulatory and governance matters, and has advised a number of global fund managers the establishment of operations in to Jersey.

Emily's wide-ranging investment funds and financial services law experience has brought her recognition from clients and industry alike.  She is ranked in Band 1 in the Chambers & Partners directory, a Market Leader and Women Leader in the IFLR1000 directory and the Hall of Fame in the Legal 500 director.
