Jamie is the Group Chief Operating Officer, responsible for the financial and operational effectiveness of the Ogier Group and for leading the implementation of group strategy. He heads the Business Services side of Ogier encompassing the Finance, HR, IT, Operations, Business Development, Knowledge Management, Marketing, Risk & Compliance and Service Innovation teams.
He also leads Ogier Global, Ogier's corporate administration business.
Jamie became the first member of the Business Services team to join the Ogier partnership when he was appointed Group Partner in 2015, and is a member of the Legal Executive Board.
Jamie joined Ogier in July 2009, initially working on strategic projects, moving on to be Finance Director of Fiduciary division, and then Group Finance Director before taking his current role in February 2014. During this time Jamie was a key member of the deal team successfully delivering the sale of Fiduciary division to Electra Partners in 2014.
Up until May 2017, Jamie was responsible for the combined roles of COO and Group Finance Director.
Prior to joining Ogier, Jamie spent six years working for IFG Group as the UK Group Business Analyst. This involved a variety of roles including M&A, greenfield formulation in Europe, strategic initiatives and commercially focused advice to senior management.
Jamie gained an MBA from Henley Business School in 2013 and graduated in Geography from Swansea University in 2002.
