Overview

Milan advises clients on all matters related to Luxembourg investment funds, across a wide range of investment strategies and asset classes. He focuses on setting up regulated and unregulated alternative investment funds adopting all kinds of corporate forms. He also has expertise in fund financing on both lender and borrower side.

    Milan is part of Ogier's multi-disciplinary Private Equity team. He specialises in fund formation and capital raising, with experience in fund financing.

    Before joining Ogier in 2019 Milan was part of the investment management team of an international law firm in Luxembourg where he worked on set-ups of major alternative investment funds and advised financial institutions on fund financings.

    He was also seconded to the regulatory/funds team of a major international law firm in Frankfurt/Main (Germany). As a German qualified lawyer (Rechtsanwalt) Milan passed the First State Exam at the University of Würzburg (Germany).

    He gained further experience during his legal clerkship, which he concluded with the Second State Exam, leading him, amongst others, to a London based international law firm in Frankfurt/Main (Germany) and, subsequently a major business law firm in Strasbourg (France).

    He speaks German, English and French.
