Tristanna Mascal

Tristanna advises on a broad range of banking, finance and corporate matters in the Cayman Islands. Tristanna acts for both international lenders and borrowers on financing transactions, with a particular focus on fund finance. Tristanna also assists clients with an array of practice areas, including investment funds, stock exchange listings and aviation matters.

Background and experience

Tristanna qualified in the Banking and Finance department at Ogier in 2022. Previously she specialised in liquidation services to a wide range of companies and limited partnerships including hedge funds, private equity funds and structured finance vehicles in the Cayman Islands and British Virgin Islands.

Tristanna graduated with a Bachelor of Laws with Honours from the University of Liverpool in 2016 and in 2019 obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice with Distinction from Oxford Brookes University. With previous experience as a banking analyst at the Cayman Islands Monetary Authority, Tristanna also holds a Bachelor of Finance and Computer Science degree from Webber International University.

She’s a Notary Public in the Cayman Islands and a member of INSOL International, the Recovery and Insolvency Specialists Association of the Cayman Islands and the Cayman Islands Legal Practitioners Association.
