Returning for a sixth year, London International Disputes Week will welcome delegates from around the world to network, learn and discuss at one of the largest global gatherings of the international disputes community.
For 2025, LIDW will dive into the key issues and trends across the international disputes community, exploring the theme "innovation in dispute resolution: navigating global risks". The programme includes panels, seminars, networking opportunities and a mix of member-hosted events.
11 experts from Ogier's global Dispute Resolution team will attend, including BVI partner Nicholas Burkill and Cayman partner Jennifer Fox who join the conference's line up of speakers.
On Wednesday 4 June, Nicholas Burkill participate in the panel Global enforcement of awards and judgments. Alongside his fellow panellists, Nicholas will explore the challenges and strategies involved in enforcing awards and judgments across jurisdictions.
On Thursday 5 June, Jennifer Fox will share her insights in the seminar Celebrating 50 years of Freezing Injunctions - are they the 'golden' ticket in asset recovery? This seminar will delve into the evolution of freezing injunctions; explore international cooperation and the development of freezing orders in non-traditional jurisdictions; and tackle practical considerations.
