Counsel Martin Byers and Senior Associate Megan Mcluskie will lead the presentation titled "Beneficial Ownership Transparency: Where are we now? What do you need to know?" 

The seminar will cover:

  • A brief recap of the Cayman Islands Beneficial Ownership Regime as it currently stands.
  • An overview of the new Beneficial Ownership Transparency Bill, including:
    • what it changes and the key impacts/ issues to be aware of with respect to trust arrangements;
    • the question of public access to beneficial ownership information; and
    • timing expectations/ implementation.
