Ogier in Jersey "delivers at all levels" in new Chambers UK Guide

Ogier in Jersey has seen another strong performance in the Chambers UK directory, with five top-tier team rankings.

The Corporate and Finance teams have retained their top-tier ranking, and are praised for their "responsive, efficient and service-focused" approach.

Raulin Amy is ranked in band one and described in client feedback as "excellent – very commercial and always able to find solutions that work for us". Richard Daggett is praised as "excellent – supportive and responsive" and Simon Dinning is "one of the market leading-lawyers for Jersey", while Katrina Edge is described as "superb, absolutely superb". James Fox is "a pleasure to work with", Bruce MacNeil is a "go-to contact on Jersey law matters" and Matthew Shaxson "understands the clients' drivers as well as how best to deal with the regulator to get the best results." All have retained or enhanced their rankings.

Dispute Resolution has also retained its top-tier ranking. "Strong client adviser" Edward Mackereth retains his eminent practitioner ranking and Nick Williams also retains his ranking, praised by a client as "effective, calm and measured". Damian Evans and Oliver Passmore are ranked, with the latter described as "a quality advocate and sensible lawyer", while James Angus is ranked as up and coming.

Employment remains in the top tier, praised as "efficient, responses were quick and they were commercially aware on all aspects". Market-leading employment lawyer Helen Ruelle remains in band one, and "intuitive and knowledgeable" Will Austin-Vautier remains an associate to watch.

Investment Funds is praised as a "solid team that delivers at all levels", with team head Niamh Lalor ranked top tier and described as "an excellent funds lawyer." Emily Haithwaite is also ranked top tier and praised as a "highly regarded commercial lawyer". Sophie Reguengo is ranked as up and coming, while Alexandra O'Grady, "a superb lawyer who gives robust, no-nonsense advice", remains an associate to watch.

The Property team remains in a league of its own with a top-tier ranking. Jonathan Hughes retains his band one ranking, and is described as "a seriously good lawyer". Katharine Marshall is ranked, with a client saying her "ability to deal with complex transactions is excellent". Jonathan Anderson and Sarah Parish are associates to watch, while senior statesperson Chris Renouf has "an amazing reputation in the market".
