Ogier’s office in Luxembourg has once again been recognised for the strength and depth of its legal expertise in the newly released Legal 500 EMEA 2026 guide, achieving rankings across six core service lines – including new rankings for the Dispute Resolution and Employment teams.

The results highlight the continued growth of Ogier’s Luxembourg practice, its cross-jurisdictional capabilities and its ability to deliver technically excellent, commercially minded advice.

Recognition for Ogier's expertise

Banking, finance and capital markets

The Legal 500 EMEA guide continues to spotlight Ogier’s Banking and Finance team, reflecting the firm’s reputation within the Luxembourg finance market.

According to client feedback, Ogier’s “very responsive” banking and finance experts “provide excellent practical advice” which is grounded in a “deep understanding” of Luxembourg’s security, corporate and insolvency laws.

Noted key lawyers within the team include partners Laura Archange and Constantin Iscru, counsel Caleb Holder and managing associate Fabiana Popescu.

Meanwhile, practice head Jad Nader is described as “particularly strong on insolvency and the practicalities of enforcement of Lux security”. Named a Leading Partner within the guide, Jad is praised for his ability to “deliver the full Ogier bench when structuring questions arise”.

Investment funds

The growing Investment Funds team – led by partners Anne-Gaëlle Delabye, Milan Hauber and Hervé Leclerq – “is excellent at partnering with other law firms to provide a joined up relationship and single legal offering for clients” according to client feedback. Marked as “the go to firm” in Luxembourg, the “very knowledgeable” team is known for their “good ideas and smart solutions”.

Anne-Gaëlle is described by clients as “pleasure to work with”. Highlighted as “a great partner with a wealth of experience”, the “very commercially-minded" Anne-Gaëlle is applauded for “always thinking ahead” and “caring about the client’s needs”.

Milan, who is the primary contact for German clients, is singled out as “a great practitioner”. Described as “a very knowledgeable lawyer”, Milan is praised for his “pragmatic and efficient approach”.

Hervé is recognised for his specialist focus on Asia-related matters and counsel Anne-Sophie Lliteras is also noted as a key lawyer.

Commercial, corporate and M&A

Ogier’s “very detail-oriented" Corporate team continues to build its presence in high-value cross-border matters, with Legal 500 highlighting the team’s experience “managing complicated transactions”.

Partners Bertrand Géradin, Laurent Thailly and Yann Payen lead a practice that continues to grow in both profile and capability with the support of counsel Sarah Verlende, managing associate Lucie Steinmetz and London-based counsel David Al Mari who are all noted as key lawyers.

Client feedback emphasises the professionalism of Sarah and Lucie, who are both described as “very professional, responsive, kind and smart”. As a “seasoned open-minded lawyer”, Sarah “reacts quickly and efficiently whenever needed”.

Tax

Ogier’s “efficiently organised” Tax team retains its strong reputation for “business-oriented and hands-on tax advice”. In feedback, clients praise the team’s “very responsive, knowledgeable and pragmatic” approach, “proactivity” and “excellent technical quality”.

Practice head Aurélie Clementz is recognised as a “very good tax team leader” who “perfectly understand clients’ needs and constraints in transactional situations”.

Meanwhile, counsel Hadrien Brémon is highlighted as a key lawyer for his expertise in fintech and structured finance tax matters.

Dispute resolution

In a new ranking, Ogier has been named a Firm to Watch for dispute resolution matters.

Ogier’s contentious capability in Luxembourg continues to expand under the leadership of partners Audrey Bertolotti and Hélène Arvis, with a particular focus on funds-related litigation.

Employment law

Ogier has also been ranked as a Firm to Watch for its growing employment practice.

Partner and team lead Audrey Bertolotti is commended for how quickly she has “built up a solid employment capability at Ogier, picking up standalone mandates and existing firm wide institutional relationships to good effect across the employment lifecycle”.

A continued commitment to excellence

Luxembourg practice partner, Bertrand Géradin said: “These rankings reflect the quality, growth and collaborative spirit of our Luxembourg practice. We are proud to be recognised for our ability to combine deep technical expertise with practical, solutions-focused advice, and we are grateful to our clients for their continued trust and support.”
