Ogier is delighted to launch the second year of its Talent4Impact programme with founding impact partners Dream Impact and Sustainable Finance Initiative.
Talent4Impact aims to build a pipeline of ESG and impact-ready talent for the marketplace by supporting more professionals with practical work experience in the industry.
Apply here. Applications close at midnight on July 13. Please read our brochure to find out more.
The fellowship is offering mid-senior career individuals, career switchers, or employees released on secondments, the opportunity to learn from the teams at Ogier Global Sustainable Investment Consulting, Dream Impact and the Sustainable Finance Initiative (SFi), with more industry partners to be announced.
“Talent4Impact only launched last year and since then we have received some outstanding candidates and interest in the initiative. Working alongside some of the brightest finance minds to support these individuals on their journey into impact has been a pleasure. We are delighted to continue to support our fellows in 2022 and to work towards getting more talent into impact,” said Leonie Kelly, Global Head of Sustainable Investment Consulting.
Ogier Talent4Impact launched in 2021 with five successful candidates undertaking a three-month fellowship in Hong Kong. More than 40 people, from a range of industries, applied for the first-of-its-kind programme. This year, the programme has expanded to take on an even greater number of cohorts.
"Talent4Impact was a great way for finance talents to experience and apply their skills to impact from the grassroots to family offices to sovereign funds, utilising their head, heart and hands to examine the relationship between impact and finance," said Dorothy Lam, Co-Founder & Chief Catalyst at Dream Impact.
"We have been impressed with the passion and calibre of fellows that applied and came to the program last year. At SFi, we believe bridging the talent gap is key to our mission of mobilizing private capital for position impact. We look forward to welcoming the new cohort and building a stronger talent pool in Hong Kong," said Katy Yung, Managing Director at SFi.
Among last year's cohorts was Anuja Agarwal, who said: "I have been passionate about sustainable investment for a long time, especially gender lens investing and circular economy. This programme is a good way to meet a network of professionals focused on this area. Also, the learning process through practical work exposure is quite unique."
