The Luxembourg fund industry has been developing successfully over a number of decades maintaining a strong focus on German-speaking markets throughout that time. Our Luxembourg office hosts a dedicated German desk for the benefit of our German-speaking clients.

Ogier has been at the forefront of the fund investment business in Luxembourg since launching its local office in 2012, bringing with it 150 years of experience in the legal sector and a global network of offices in key financial jurisdictions. 

A respected voice in the local market, we advise on significant international transactions, supplying specialists with both the requisite international know how and the necessary language skills.

Advising clients in German has played an important role in Ogier's success in Luxembourg. It is one of the Grand Duchy's official languages and the preferred language for many clients who request that documents be drafted in German and want to conduct their international deal negotiations in their language of choice.

We use precise terminology to get straight to the point – and we speak your language.

Ogier's German Desk is comprised of eight professionals, a number of whom are native German speakers and are either qualified as Rechtsanwalt or have experience and qualifications in German-speaking countries.
