Ogier supports leading digital assets company HashKey in HKEx IPO

Ogier’s Equity Capital Markets specialists in Hong Kong and the Technology and Web3 team in the Cayman Islands acted as Cayman counsel to HashKey Holdings Limited on its initial public offering and listing on the Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.

HashKey Holdings Limited (HashKey) is a leading digital assets company with global operations and operator of Hong Kong’s largest licensed crypto exchange.

Shares in Cayman-incorporated HashKey will begin trading on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange (HKEx) on 17 December 2025.

HashKey, through certain of its subsidiaries, focuses on operating global virtual asset exchanges and providing end-to-end financial infrastructure, technology and investment management services to create a comprehensive digital assets ecosystem.

The Hong Kong team was led by partner Rachel Huang with support from the firm’s global head of Corporate, Nathan Powell, partner Yuki Yan, legal managers Em Lou and Chloe Yip and paralegal Vicky Wu. The Cayman team was led by co-head of Ogier's Technology and Web3 team partner Chris Wall with support from partner Bradley Kruger and associate Mike Azarnikow.

Ogier delivered comprehensive Cayman Islands legal services to HashKey, covering a wide range of matters, including but not limited to Hong Kong initial public offering (IPO) related matters, general corporate issues and the complex regulatory framework applicable to virtual assets and virtual asset services.
