Experts from Ogier's Investment Funds, Banking and Finance and Corporate teams in Luxembourg have been praised for their "pragmatic and commercially-oriented" advice in the latest Legal 500 guide to Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) 2022.
The guide, which is based on research by independent analysts, describes Ogier as an "offshore heavyweight," best known for its fund finance offering, and highlights the firm's frequent collaboration between colleagues across its network of offices, as well as its specialist expertise in setting up Luxembourg-Cayman parallel fund structures.
According to client feedback provided to the Legal 500, "Ogier has a competent and diverse investment funds team" with a "very broad and deep experience in Luxembourg funds regulation." Anne-Gaëlle Delabye is singled out as a key lawyer and co-heads the team with Benoit Rose, who is praised for his "pragmatic" advice, as well as his "swift and professional responses."
Ogier’s finance team in Luxembourg is praised for its "strength-in-depth" and is good at "getting the commercial result needed." The "excellent" Jad Nader is noted for his strong ties with US stakeholders, and the team's co-head Daniel Richards is named as a key lawyer.

Ogier is celebrating 10 years since the founding of its Luxembourg office in 2012. The office has grown from two partners to seven and now has a total headcount of more than 50.
