Top tier across the board: Ogier flies high in Legal 500 UK 2026 Jersey law firm research

Legal 500 has endorsed Ogier's status as a market-leading law firm in Jersey in its latest guide, ranking every one of its service lines in tier one.

Ogier in Jersey is rated best in class in Legal 500 UK 2026 across nine practice areas, including new tier one recognition for Ogier's expanded Regulatory practice and 36 lawyers singled out for individual recognition.

Stand out testimonials collated independently by Legal 500 include: "A behemoth in the offshore world - if it is big or complicated, you need Ogier" and "best in class across the Jersey firms that we work with".

Banking and finance

Tackling the gamut of lender-side matters, advising both sole lenders and syndicates on NAV facilities to Jersey-domiciled funds, with expertise in real estate finance and the restructuring of loans via both contentious and non-contentious proceedings, Ogier's Banking and Finance team is named "best in class across the Jersey firms that we work with" and "above any other I have ever worked with in terms of the offshore element," by clients. Dispute resolution

Will Austin-Vautier gains Leading Associate placement in Legal 500 UK 2026's Employment category. Private client, trusts and tax

"Incredibly responsive", "very collaborative" and "the private client team of the highest quality in Jersey" – Ogier's Private Wealth teams is recognised for its work with HNWIs looking to establish trusts or set up trust companies in Jersey, in addition to advising clients looking to launch philanthropic and charitable structures and advising employers on the use of trust structures for employee pension and incentive schemes. Regulatory and white-collar crime
